Grade R learners
Grade R learners were engaged in balancing activity this week in order to develop balancing awareness. Below is one of our grade R learners demonstrating the activity.

We are extremely proud of Donica Jacobs an ex-learner of Delta Primary who received a 91% pass in the 2020 matric exams. Donica attended South Peninsula, and we celebrate her success and wish her well for the future.Donica was celebrated at provincial event see the photo below.
All parents would have received a nomination form which enable you to nominate a willing parent to serve on the SGB over the next 3 years. Please note the following with regards to the nomination process.
1.The nomination form must be completed with a proposer, a seconder and the nominated candidate must accept the nomination.
2. Parent’s may not nominate themselves.
3.The duly completed form must be submitted to school over the next few weeks and reach the school before the 14th of April 2021 which is the final nomination date.
4.The nomination forms will be secured in a nomination box.
5.All nomination forms will be subjected to a validation process to ensure that nominated parents are eligible to serve on the SGB. Availing yourself to serve on the SGB is a 3-year commitment to serve on the governance structure.
6.Nominated parents, the proposer and seconder is asked to be at school on the 14th of April 2021
7.The voters roll will be available for scrutiny at the security office during the course of next week.
We are encouraging all our boys and girls to keep up the wonderful effort of collecting a minimum of R 120 on their collecting list to secure their incentive. Over the past few weeks our boys and girls have made us extremely proud with the financial donations that were handed in. A reminder that the incentives are as follows:
R120 – chocolate
R350 – Spur/ Mcdonald’s meal

WE ARE APPEALING TO ALL OUR PARENTS TO ALSO BE VIGILANT IN EXERCISING COVID PROTOCOLS BY DOING THE FOLLOWING:
1.Refrain from sending learners to school after they have failed the screening process on multiple occasions (the screening questions are available on the school website under the TAB – Our school- COVID 19.
2.Be forthcoming with the school with information in relation to being in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Bear in mind – A RESPONSIBLE CITIZEN WILL DO THE RESPONSIBLE THING TO KEEP HIMSELF/HERSELF AND OTHERS SAFE.
3.Ensure that your loved ones wear a mask that fits their face, is clean and sterilised at the end of each day.
4.When collecting learners at school – WEAR YOUR MASK.
