PARENT MEETING DATES

The recent spate of violence in the area has prompted us to cancel our planned parent meetings (grades 2 and 3). Going forward grades 4,5,7 shall continue as per our planned program. We shall communicate via the newsletter and the parent group chats for alternative parent meeting dates for the grade 2 and 3 classes.

We express thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Damon who was the substitute teacher for the grade 5B class and the display of competent oversight of the class since the commencement of the academic year. The management and SGB wish her well for the remainder of the academic year. We also take this opportunity to welcome Mrs. Klaazen back after her maternity leave.

SCHOOL UNIFORM

Winter is approaching with speed, in this regard we wish to alert our parents that learners will have to adjust their uniforms accordingly. We appeal to all parents to ensure that our learners have the required winter uniform and a matching raincoat on days when it is raining. Hoodies are not allowed and learners will have to remove the clothing item on arrival at school. Warm navy blue jerseys will more than likely be needed underneath the school tracksuit top as the temperature drops. The wearing of takkies is not allowed except on civvies days. Parents, are alerted to this school requirement and encouraged to do the necessary.

SOCCER RESULTS

Grade 5C vs a combined Grade 5 team and the grade 5C were victorious, congratulations 5C.
