GRADE 7 APPLICATION TO HIGH SCHOOLS

We are reminding all parents of current grade 7 learners, to ensure that their child is registered for high school in 2022. It is important that you apply to at least 3 different high schools of your choice. Once you have completed the online or physical application, you must maintain contact with the high schools to ensure that you receive written confirmation of enrolment for 2022. Please, bear in mind that an application to high school is no guarantee of acceptance at your preferred high school. Parents must also inform the remaining high schools to which they have applied that they have selected a particular school in order for the school to clear their database of applications.

Below a set of pictures found in the grade 7 class which epitomizes the culture of excellence we wish to engender in the grade 7 class.

LEARNER WELLNESS

During the course of the school week, the wellness committee commenced with the delivery of soup to learners in the classroom (observation of all covid-19 protocols). The outreach was well received and came at such an opportune time during these cold few days we have experienced. Many donors must be thanked for making this once off outreach possible.

SHOE DRIVE

Identified learners at Delta Primary who did not have school shoes as part of the schools official dress code, received a new pair of school shoes during the course of the week. This is the second round of the school shoe drive. Our Wellness committee has been doing excellent work in this regard by coming to the assistance of our learners. We wish to encourage the donation of school shoes, especially in light of the observed need amongst some of our learners. See pictures below

We wish to encourage all learners to continue to show pride in their dress code and attend school on a regular basis amidst a very challenging situation.

FORMAL ASSESSMENTS

All grades have commenced with formal assessments please monitor the whatsapp messages and notes from the teacher in relation to assessments that requires learners to study.
