BUDGET 2024
Be reminded of the 2024 parent budget meeting on Tuesday 7 November 2023 in the main hall @ 17:00. A decision will be taken in relation to the operational budget for 2024.
GRADE R GRADUATION 2023
The grade R cohort of grade R – 2023, will have their annual graduation ceremony on Saturday the 4 November 2023. A mini concert has also been planned for the morning. Tickets go on sale as of Monday 30 October 2023 @ R20 per adult and R10 for children older than 2 years old. The grade R teachers will be communicating and marketing the concert within the respective class groups.
GUY FAWKES
Dear parents and guardians of learners at Delta Primary School. As you are aware the distasteful celebration of Guy Fawkes is once again on our doorstep. Please, be vigilant with regards to the whereabouts of all Delta learners over this period. SAPS has indicated that they will make their rounds in all communities. Learners of Delta Primary who are found to have engaged in any anti-social guy fawkes celebrations will be dealt with in terms of the school code of conduct.
Do not allow your child to be part of the mob terrorising fellow community members during this time. Please also take all necessary precautions over the period 4-6 November 2023,if you sense that the atmosphere is unsavoury. Delta will be open and in operation as per normal on 6th November 2023.
BRAINTEASER

The weekly brain teaser has proven quite a hit amongst our grade 4-7 learners. The initiative is sponsored by Mr Peter Adonis, who also sponsors the financial incentive for our learner who answers the brainteaser correctly after the publication in the newsletter.
