END OF YEAR REFLECTION

As we approach the end of the year, we often want to shift our attention from the present year and mentally plan the new year. In doing so we create in our mind  how the year might unfold and then add the necessary plans so as to mitigate potential stumbling blocks, leveraging off past experiences.

I am sure you would agree that it would be a huge mistake not to pause in order to reflect on the year that is slowly unwinding. Delta Primary has experienced an absolutely amazing year in all facets of the organisation. Our learners have benefited emotionally as well as intellectually from positive experiences inside as well as outside of the class. We thank everybody who has played a positive role in this fantastic organisation. These special people that I am referring to are the learners, teachers, ground staff, administration staff, SGB, parents, feeding scheme volunteers, Ps Jack, sponsors, uniform suppliers, stationery suppliers, electricians, plumbers and  assistants. All these stakeholders have contributed to the success of the school

OFFICIAL RETIREMENT OF THE DEPUTY

As mentioned in the previous communique the deputy officially retires as of the 15 December 2022. Mr. John has served the Delta community with pride and distinction. It is our collective wish that he enjoys a wonderful retirement and is prosperous with good health. His presence in management will be sorely missed. We also express thanks and gratitude to Mrs. John (his spouse) who travelled this journey with him.

LEARNER SAFETY

The festive season brings along a sense of relaxation and a break from the demands of our daily routine. In this regard I wish to advocate that we be vigilant with regards to the safety of our children, in particular when we are near water and open fires. Please take special care that no evil, harm or danger overcomes our children during the vacation period. Monitor their movements strictly and ensure that you, at all times, know where your child is.Boys and girls I am asking that you please take care of yourself and be obedient to your parents.
