FORMAL ASSESSMENTS
Parents are kindly advised that all learners in Grades 1–7 will be engaged in formal assessments during the course of next week. Your support in ensuring that learners revise and prepare diligently is vital to their success.
BUDGET MEETING 2026
At the time of publication, all parents will have received a budget notice regarding the FINCOM presentation of the proposed operational budget for 2026. This meeting is scheduled for 14 October 2025 for your consideration and input.
CULTURE OF READING
We once again encourage all learners to read as frequently as possible. Regular visits to the school and public libraries play an important role in building a literate community. Learners are encouraged to strive toward the goal of reading 40 books before the end of the year. Let us continue to keep the culture of reading alive in our homes.
SPELLING BEE
Learners in the Foundation Phase will soon participate in the annual Spelling Bee, held per grade. Parents are encouraged to assist learners in preparing by practicing the provided word lists at home.
LEARNER DISMISSAL
Please note the following dismissal times:
- 29 September – 2 October: Learners will be dismissed at 1:00 pm
- 3 October (last day of Term 3): Learners will be dismissed at 11:00 am
